 Welcome to the new Office for Financial Policy (OFP) Policy Web Site. The site is a single, central repository for all the University’s published financial policies. It is also a versatile search tool that allows users to search by any keyword or phrase they enter, by choosing from a pre-populated list of common policy-related topics, or by the office responsible for maintaining the policy. To search, use one of these methods:
- Enter a keyword into the search box and click "Go"
- Click on "Browse by Topic" to access policies by the main topic area
- Click on "Filter by Keyword" to select a policy from a drop-down list of keywords
- Click on "Advanced Search" to search by revision date or filter by responsible office
This new site consolidates all of the existing University financial policies, which had previously been issued in varying formats, into one comprehensive directory so that Harvard's users can easily search all existing policies.
The formal process for issuing policies was introduced in 2006. Click on the "How to develop/revise a policy" link on the left for more information.
